Jason R. Bretz

Jason R. Bretz , 66, of Lauchnor Road, Lehighton, East Penn Township, PA, died peacefully Thursday, New Year's Day, January 1, 2026, in his home.  He was the husband of Judith A. (Spencer) Bretz since September 8, 1989.  Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Ray M. and Dorothy J. (Becker) Bretz.

Jason was employed as a brick and stone mason by the T.A. Silfies Masonry Co., Allentown, for over 40 years, retiring in 2022.  A 1977 graduate of the Salisbury High School, he was a lifelong avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.  Jason enjoyed camping, spending time at Assateague Island, MD, hiking, and playing the saxophone.  He was a member of the Lehighton Community Band.

Survivors: Wife.  Daughter, Jillian wife of Mark Gasper of Schnecksville.  Granddaughter, Lindsey.

Services: Funeral Services, 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 9, 2026, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.  Call, 10:00a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Friday in the funeral home.  Interment, Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Airport Road, Hanover Township.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
