Jean L. Halmi

Jean L. (Siddlow) Halmi , 93, of Columbia Avenue, Palmerton, PA, died peacefully Sunday morning, January 1, 2023, in Palmerton.  She was the wife of the late George Halmi who passed in 1997.  Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Joseph, Sr. and Helen (Rakus) Siddlow.

Jean was employed as a senior loan officer by the former Citizen's Bank and Trust Co., Palmerton, for over 42 years.  A 1947 graduate of the Palmerton High School, she later graduated from Allentown Business School in 1948.  Jean was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, and the Palmerton Hungarian Club.  She enjoyed bingo and her occasional casino trip.

Survivors: Several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by brother, Joseph, Jr.
