Jean Doris Hutchinson

Jean Doris (Becker) Hutchinson, 63, of Lehigh Township, Pennsylvania, passed away at home on November 1, 2018, after a courageous battle with brain cancer (glioblastoma). Jean was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who married her high school sweetheart, Darrel Hutchinson in 1974. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and had a special love for all young people. She was a life-long member of the Slatington and Walnutport Seventh-Day Adventist Churches, where she was very active in children's ministries and communication. She also helped and ministered to other's needs through giving her homemade bread and jam.

Survivors: Husband, Darrel. Children, Sandra Jean (Hutchinson) wife of Pastor Bryce Bowman, and Stacey Marie (Hutchinson) wife of Pastor Alex Rodriguez. Grandchildren, Kaitelynn Bowman, Chase Rodriguez, Caleb Bowman, Celeste Rodriguez, Carissa Rodriguez, Micah Bowman, Cayliana Rodriguez, and she was eagerly awaiting her eighth grandchild. Brian Becker.

Services: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2018, Walnutport Seventh Day Adventist Church, 227 Willow Road, Walnutport, PA 18088. Call, 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, November 5th, and 10:00-11:00 a.m., Tuesday in the church. Interment, Indianland Cemetery, Almond Road, Lehigh Towship. Officiating is Mr. David Muth, Elder.
