Jean M. Litchauer

Jean M. (Eisenhower) Litchauer , 85, of Birch Drive, Lehighton, Franklin Township, Pennsylvania, died late Monday evening, January 25, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital, Gnaden Huetten Memorial Campus, Lehighton.  She was the wife of Michael J. Litchauer since June 25, 1954.  Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Harry, Sr. and Ruth (Henry) Eisenhower.

Jean was employed as a seamstress for many years by various garment mills in the Lehighton area.  She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U., and St. Paul's Union Church, Big Creek, Lutheran Congregation, Franklin Township.  An avid motorcyclist, she and her husband were members of the Retreat Motorcycle Group, Lancaster, enjoying their cross country trips.  Jean liked to crochet, quilt, and attend bingo.  She treasured her time with family and friends.

Survivors: Husband.  Daughters, Deborah wife of Rick Gray of Boise, ID, Cindy Nothstein, Annette wife of Steven Hill, and Rhonda wife of Steven Lauer, all of Lehighton, and Brenda wife of George Hargraves of Pottsville.  10 grandchildren. 9 great-grandchildren.  Sisters, Charlotte wife of Steve Skrabak, Linda wife of Dick Obert, all of Sun City, AZ, and Jeanette wife of Robert Strausberger of Palmerton.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by sister, Molly Strohl, brothers, Harry Jr., Glenn Sr., and son-in-law, Jerry Nothstein.
