Jeffrey A. Strouse

Jeffrey A. Strouse, 79 of Nazareth, PA passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hecktown Oaks. Born March 10, 1947 in Bethlehem, PA, he was the son of the late Allen W. Strouse and the late Ruby H. (Been) Strouse. He was the husband of Melanie R. Strouse, with whom he would have celebrated 45 years of loving marriage this coming October.

Jeffrey was employed by the former SI Handling Systems, Forks Twp. as a computer programmer for 26 years before his retirement in 2001. He was a Los Angeles Dodger fan, he was also a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity at Lehigh. Jeffrey loved being with family, but he especially loved spending time with his beloved grand daughter, Suzanne. Throughout the years, Jeffrey took joy in cooking, and he loved listening to music.

Survivors: Surviving along with wife Melanie are daughter Sarah, wife of Andrew Cranney. Grand daughter, Suzanne Cranney, all of Lancaster, PA, and one brother, Walter Strouse.

Services: The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service all on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, Inc., 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth, Pennsylvania. Interment to follow at Farmersville cemetery, with the Rev. Todd Fennell officiating.

Contributions: Memorial contributions may be made in Jeffrey's memory to The Allentown Rescue Mission, or St Jude's Children Hospital, both in care of the funeral home.
