Jerome J. Bednar, 63 of Hokendauqua, died on Friday, December 9, 2016, at his home.
Born July 28, 1953 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Saganowich) Bednar.
He was a dispatcher for the Public Works Deptpartment of Whitehall Township for 43 years before retiring last
August. He also worked for the Whitehall Police Reserves. He was a 1973 graduate of Whitehall High School and
received a Criminal Justice Degree from Lehigh County Community College.
In addition to his parents Jerome was predeceased by his twin brother, Timothy Bednar.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Schisler Funeral Home
2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 followed by a 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. John
Fisher Roman Catholic Church 1239 3rd Street, North Catasauqua.
Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall.
