Jerry L. Binder, Sr., 57 of Lehighton, died Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Salisbury
Township. Born October 7, 1959 in Allentown, he was the son of the late George W. Binder and Mildred E. (Wieand) Binder of
Lehigh Township. He and his wife Susan A. (Follweiler) Binder were married on March 22, 1980.
He was a welder for L & M Fabrication, Bath and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville. Jerry loved
hunting, the outdoors and four wheeling.
Survivors: In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by sons, Richard A. Binder and wife Carleen V. of Slatington, Jerry
L., Binder Jr. and wife Jessica R. of Lehighton, daughter, Holly A. Carr of Walnutport, brother, Randall G. Binder of
Whitehall, sister, Patricia M. wife of Daniel H. Neff of Walnutport; eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother, Dennis A. Binder.
Services: The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service on Friday,
January 6, 2017 at the Schisler Funeral Home 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton.
Interment will be in Indianland Cemetery Association, Cherryville.
