Dr. Jessica Marita Adams-Skinner

Dr. Jessica Marita Adams-Skinner , 63 of Northampton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. She was born November 22, 1961 in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, Trinidad and Tobago, Jessica was the daughter of the late Joseph Adams and the late Joyce (Thomas) Adams. She was the wife of Vernon V. Skinner with whom she shared 34 years of marriage.

Dr. Jessica was a High School graduate who continued her education earning her Doctorate degree in Health Sciences and was last employed as the Director of Community Health for Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest Campus, Allentown, PA. Jessica was very active with Women's Ministry serving in the city of Bethlehem, PA.

Surviving along with her husband Vernon are brothers, Julian E. Adams of Trincity, Trinidad,  and Jerry B. Adams of East Stroudsburg, PA, and her sister, Jacquline S. Adams of Trincity, Trinidad. Her nieces; Jalessa, Jameela, Cheniece, and Jada. Her nephews; Jarrell, Jamaul, Jeremy, Jelanee, and Jabari. Her cousins the Lukes, Adams and Feracho. Her sister-in-law, Jennifer Adams. Her God children; Patrick, Diamond, Chelsea, Tricia and many others. She was predeceased by sisters, Joan Adams and Janice Adams-Manswell.

A Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday August 16, 2025 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. Family and friends, a viewing will be held on Friday August 15, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again Sat. August 16, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment will follow in Allen Union Cemetery Association, Northampton, PA.

Contributions : May be made in her memory to the Carol Adams Cancer Foundation, (a Trinidad Organization) c/o the funeral home.
