Joan M. (LaRose) Cressley,
78, of Long Run Road, Lehighton, Franklin Township, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Thursday morning, April 26, 2018, in her home. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Cressley who passed in 1993. Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of the late Clarence T. and Mary A. (Caffery) LaRose.
Joan was employed by the former Tri-County Bank, Lehighton and Bowmanstown, as a teller for over 25 years, retiring in 2002. She was an active member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Franklin Township. Joan was a member and former treasurer of the Lehighton Lioness/Lions Club. She enjoyed gardening, exercising, bus trips to dinner shows and tourist spots, playing cards with friends, and, spending time with family and friends.
Survivors:
Daughter, Dianna L. wife of Thomas Riegel of Coplay. Sons, David T. Cressley of Weissport, Robin D. Cressley of Franklin Toiwnship. 2 grandchildren, Robyn and Jake. Great-grandson, Damian. Brother, Thomas LaRose of Philadelphia. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Shirley Drumbore.

11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2018, at Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235. Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m., Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Franklin Heights Memorial Park, East Weissport. Online Condolences may be left for the family at:
