Joan A. Kohler, 73 of Kutztown, PA. died Friday, March 31, 2017, at her home. Born August 21, 1943 in Whitehall-
Fullerton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Russell E. Newhart and the late Isabell S. (Peters) Newhart. She was
the wife of Ralph C. Kohler with whom she shared 52 years of marriage last May 1, 2016.
Joan was a homemaker all her life caring for her family. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Allentown,
PA.
She is survived by her husband Ralph, at home, son, Jeffrey C. Kohler and wife Lori of Maxatawny Twsp., PA; sister, Jean wife of
Robert Zellers of McClure, PA; 2 grandchildren; Justin Kohler and wife Mandy and Heather wife of Tyler Schaeffer, 3 Great-Grandchildren: Rylan, Eli, and Brantley. She was predeceased by a sister Debbie and a daughter, Baby Girl Kohler.
Funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Schisler
Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Northampton, PA
