Joan R. Saylor

Joan R. Saylor, 75 of Northampton, PA passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, surrounded by her family at VNA Hospice House @ St. Luke's in Bethlehem, PA. Born November 20, 1945 in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Russell O. Hantz and the late Ada S. (Miller) Hantz. She was the wife of Larry R. Saylor with whom she shared 55 years of marriage last August 28, 2020.

Joan worked as a Teller for the B.B. & T. Bank- Northampton Branch, for 11 years before retiring in 2011, along with caring for her family. She was a life long member of St. Paul's U.C.C. Church, Northampton, PA.

Surviving along with her husband Larry are sons, Brian L. and Michael A. both of Northampton, PA. A sister, Shirley wife of Robert Miller of Coopersburg, PA and 3 Grandchildren.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday June 19, 2021 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 105 E. 19th Street Northampton, PA. 18067 with the Rev. David R. Schnaars officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services in the church. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Northampton, PA. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA 18067 is in charge of her arrangements.
