Joann A. Ferris

Joann A. Ferris, 54 of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Born June 16, 1963 in Calabria, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe Fusco and the late Paolina (Peluso) Fusco. She was the wife of John M Ferris with whom she celebrated 23 years of marriage on March 19.

Joann was a stay at home mother who loved caring for her family. She was a soccer mom and enjoyed helping out at her children's school events. Joann was very artistic and creative and loved butterflies. She attended Notre Dame Catholic Church in Bethlehem. She was a joy to be around and was always laughing.

Surviving along with her husband John, are sons, John R. & Michael A. Ferris of Bethlehem, PA, brother, Rocco A. Fusco & companion, Elia of Bethlehem, PA, sisters, Nickie A. wife of Giuseppe Dellapietra of Bethlehem, PA and Diana M. wife of Ettore Nannetti of Brooklyn, NY. She was predeceased by a brother, Alfred Fusco.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Assump. of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, 22nd & Washington Avenue Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Msgr. Thomas P. Koons celebrating. Interment will follow in Assumption B.V.M. Cemetery- Mausoleum, Northampton, PA. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, April 2, 2018, and 8:30 AM to 9:30AM on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, PA.
