Joanne Searfoss

Joanne Searfoss, 66 of Northampton, PA. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. Born February 23, 1955 in Wind Gap, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Guerro and the late Ruth (Popovice) Guerro. She was the wife of Wayne R. Searfoss with whom she shared 38 years of marriage this past May 28, 2021.

Joanne was last employed by Dr. Gregory Bentzinger, Podiatrist, Bethlehem, as the Billing Manager for 17 years before retiring in 2020. She served as a former Sunday school teacher at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church, Whitehall, PA, and for many years she was the Treasurer for the Northampton Borough Elementary and Middle School PTA's.

Surviving along with her husband are daughter, Kaitlyn X. Searfoss of Media, PA, brother, Wayne J. Guerro and wife Bonnie of Hendersonville, NC.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday July 31, 2021 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Suze Booth officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
