JoAnne F. (Shanebrook) Moore

JoAnne F. (Shanebrook) Moore, 71, of Fox Ridge Drive, Trachsville, Towamensing Township, PA, died peacefully Monday afternoon, July 20, 2026, in her home. She was the wife of Steven D. Moore, Sr., since November 25, 1972. Born in Doylestown, Bucks County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Oscar and Caroline Mae (Keller) Shanebrook.

JoAnne was employed in the IT Department of the former Palmerton Hospital for over 10 years until retiring. Previously, she worked in the nursing department of the Marple-Newtown School District, Delaware County, for several years. She was a 1973 graduate of the Interboro High School, Delaware County. JoAnne enjoyed bird watching, and caring for her flower garden. She especially loved spending time with her granddaughter supporting her over the years with her high school and college sporting events.

Survivors: Husband. Sons, Steven D., Jr. and wife Laura of Kunkletown, and Brian E. and wife Jennifer of Macungie. Granddaughter, Brianna. Sisters, Beverly wife of Bill Miller of Lewes, DE, and Bonnie wife of Paul Cartularo of Norwood, Delaware County. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Robert, and Barry.
