John C. Bracy

Mr. John C. Bracy , 96, of Lehighton, Pennsylvania, died on Sunday, September 27, 2020 with his daughter Eula, and son-in-law, Robert, at his side.  He was a son of the late James and Quessie Bracy, of North Carolina.  John was the beloved husband of the late Lathine Bracy, who passed many years ago.

John served his country honorably in the U.S. Army, having achieved the rank of T/5  during WWII.  He was a truck driver, and a member of Christ Christian Center, 305 White Street, Weissport, PA 18235.  John had a very large family, all of whom he loved despite the distance between them.

Survivors: Daughter, Eula Bracy and husband, Robert, with whom he resided.  Daughters, Wilhemina Freeman and husband Mack, Alice Reagan and husband Michael, and Linda Ganus, all of North Carolina.  Son, William Bracey and wife Sharon, of North Carolina.  Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  Sisters, Gloria Grace Bracey Fox, Inez Rogers Bracey Stewart, Iris Bracey Cooke, and Amelda Bracey Jones-Vereen, all of North Carolina.  Brothers, William Archibald Bracey, Kenneth Ray Bracey, Sr., and Charles Terry Bracey, of North Carolina. Nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife, Lathine, 5 children; Daughters, Alma Wright, and Carolesta Estabranza Bracey, and sons, Sonny Rosevelt Bellamy, Stanwick Bracey, and James Bracey, as well as son-in-law, Clarence Ganus.  He was also predeceased by sisters, Josephina Bracey Turnage, Virginia Bracey Curry, Quessie Carlota Christine Bracey, Ida Ruth Bracey Harris, and Peggy Albertha Bracey Spearman, as well as a brother, James Edward Bracey.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
