John C. Cser

John C. Cser, 69 of Allentown, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at his residence in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Born September 26, 1950 in Northampton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Frank and Cecilia (Wechsler) Cser. He was the husband of Kathleen (McFadden) Cser.

John was most recently employed by Giant Food Stores where he worked in the bakery until his retirement in 2013.

John was a loving brother, father and husband. He always took the time to help others before himself. He was a hard worker throughout the bakery and at home. John also loved his sweets as much as he did baking them. John loved to make people laugh and leaving a smile on their face. John also never took anything for granted and loved his family and friends very much.

Surviving are wife, Kathleen of Allentown, son, John Cser, Jr. of Allentown, PA, daughters, Keri Kromer and husband Nathan of Coplay, PA and Johanna Cser of Allentown, PA; grandchildren Gillian, Landon, and Elliot, and Siblings, Ernie, Linda, Richie, Joey, Michael, Cecilia, Rosie, and Jimmy.  He was predeceased by his daughter Amy Cser.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at Schisler Funeral Home, located at 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, Pennsylvania 18067. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, prior to the service.
