John "Jackie" P. Hornick, Jr.,
58, of Berwick Street, Beaver Meadows, Carbon County, Pennsylvania, died early Thursday morning, October 4, 2018, in his home. Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late John P. Hornick, Sr., who passed in 2012, and Mrs. Veronica M. (Fidishun) Hornick of Beaver Meadows.
John was employed as a long-distance truck driver for Roadway Trucking Corporation, Tannersville, for 25 years. He attended the Tamaqua LDS, and was a graduate of the Hazleton High School, as well as a member of the Hazleton Lodge F. & A.M.
Survivors: Mother, Veronica Hornick. Sister, Michele A. wife of Byron Rhoades of Beaver Meadows. Brothers, Robert Hornick, Sr., of Beaver Meadows, Ronald Hornick, Sr., of Drifton, and, Richard and wife Leeann Hornick of Tresckow. Nieces and nephews. Wife, Lillie Jones of Beaver Meadows.
