John A. Jany, 67 of Coplay, PA passed away Monday, May 4, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown. Born October 13, 1958 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frank S. Jany and the late Mary S. (Kulovits) Jany. He was the loving husband of Suzanne L. (Onuschak) Jany.
He was employed by Lehigh Cement Company in Evansville, PA as a second maintenance repairman between August of 1991 until 2019. Prior, he worked for Service America Vending Company of the Lehigh Valley. In John's retirement, he continued on to work part-time at Weis in Schnecksville, where he enjoyed and spoke highly of his coworkers, the coffee club, and all the patrons that came in each day.
John was an avid "foodie", he loved eating good food paired with an ice cold beer; traveling far and near for a good bite. Along with eating, he also enjoyed cooking and baking. He also loved to fish, go to NASCAR races, and above all - spending time with his wife, children, and especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed shopping at Boscovs for good sales weekly with his mother in-law, Diane. John was a social butterfly. He could talk to anyone, his sense of humor made it effortless to make someone laugh.
