John L. Klucsarits, Sr.

John L. Klucsarits, Sr. , 83 of N. Catasauqua, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Born May 27, 1941 in Coplay, PA, he was the son of the late Frank Klucsarits and the late Theresa (Kroboth) Klucsarits. He was the husband of Kathleen (Geiger)  Klucsarits with whom he shared 61 years of marriage this April 20, 2024.

John a 1960 graduate of Coplay High School, went on to own and operate John L. Klucsarits Contracting, N. Catasauqua, PA for over 50 year before retiring in 2009.

John was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Coplay, PA. He was a member, past President, and a Paul Harris Fellow of the Catasauqua Rotary Club, Catasauqua, PA. He also served on the Catasauqua Boys Club Board for two years.

Surviving along with his wife Kathleen are daughter, Annette Beers(Eric), Northampton, PA, 2 granddaughters; Jessica Landis, and Jenna Schlener-McWilliams(Ronan), and a great-grandson, Jackson, brothers, Charles Klucsarits(Jackie), Wind Gap, PA and Richard Klucsarits(Judy),  Bethlehem, PA, sisters, Mrs. Julia Barna, N. Whitehall Twsp., PA, Mrs. Ceclia Wechsler,  Northampton, PA, Helen Gutleber(Lawrence), Coplay, PA. He was predeceased by his son John L., Jr., in 2010, brothers, Joseph and Frank Klucsarits, sisters, Rose Betz, Theresa Miskowsky, Marie Keppel, and Barbara and Anna Klucsarits.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday January 4, 2025 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 4 South Fifth Street Coplay, PA 18037 with the Rev. Msgr. David L. James officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM prior to the Mass in the Church. Interment for immediate family only. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA has been entrusted with his care and arrangements.
