John F. Lamp,
73, of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, died on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at his residence. Born Friday, June 2, 1944 in Secaucus, New Jersey, he was the son of the late John Lamp and the late Eleanor (Lang) Lamp.
John worked for T-Mobile in Allentown as a Customer Service Representative. He served his country honorably as a Veteran of the Vietnam War. In his spare time he enjoyed sports shooting.
Survivors:
Surviving are sons, John J. Lamp & fiancée Danielle Prefach of Effort, PA, and, Jason A. Lamp of Slatington, PA. Sister, Eleanor, wife of Arthur Schmidt of Secaucus, NJ. Grandchildren, Tyler, Anthony, and Gianna. Several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Mardenley.
Services: A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Campton Funeral Home, Inc. located at 525 Delaware Avenue Palmerton, PA 18071. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the funeral home. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
