John E. Minar

John E. Minar, 81 of Northampton, PA passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018, at Gracedale Nursing Home in Upper Nazareth Township, PA. Born March 8, 1937 in Northampton, PA, he was the son of the late Rudolph Minar and the late Anna (Farkas)  Minar.

John was a mechanic at the former Freuhauf Trucking in Allentown, PA for many years.  John was an avid fisherman and loved the great outdoors.

Surviving are brother, Dennis Minar of Columbia, SC, sisters, Frances Minar of N. Catasauqua, PA and Marie Frisch of Walnutport, PA and nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are under the care of Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
