John Molnar, Jr., 72 of Nazareth, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 17, 2022, at his residence. Born August 29, 1949 in Northampton, PA, he was the son of the late John Molnar, Sr. and the late Dorothy E. (Kohler) Molnar. He was the husband of Jane A. (Boran) Molnar with whom he shared 49 years of marriage this past August 26, 2021.
John was a 1967 graduate from Northampton Area Senior High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA in 1971. In 1975 he earned his degree in Juris Prudence from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA. John started practicing Law with Cassabaum Law Offices, Bangor, PA. After a few years, John elected to practice on his own and opened Molnar Law Offices, Wind Gap, PA and has been there for the past 24 years. He was a long time member of the Bangor Elks Lodge #1106. He supported the Wind Gap Ambulance and Fire with legal assistance for years. John was the solicitor for the Wind Gap Municipal Authority, he was a member of the Wind Gap Zoning and Hearing Board and the Tatamy Zoning and Hearing Board.
Surviving along with his wife Jane, is a son, John Andrus Molnar of Nagoya, Japan, brother, Barry L. Molnar and wife Penny of Whitehall, PA.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
