John J. Nederostek
, 99, formerly of Fullerton and Allentown, Pennsylvania, died Saturday morning, May 20, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Kiss) Nederostek who passed in 1996. Born in Cementon, Whitehall Township, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Mary C. (Kolumber) Nederostek.
John was employed as a general foreman for the former Whitehall Cement Company. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Allentown, and the Holy Name Society. An Army veteran of WWII, he served his country honorably as a medic/surgical tech in the Pacific Theatre achieving the rank of Tech 4. John was a life member of the VFW Post 7293, Egypt. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. John was awarded 50 years consecutive voting PA Voters Hall of Fame 2011.
Survivors:
Nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 7 sisters, and 2 brothers.
