John R. Potak

John R. Potak , 67 of Allentown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at his residence in Allentown, PA. Born May 13, 1958 in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Theodore J. Potak and the late Mary E. (Reside) Potak.

John was last employed at the Barristers Club, Allentown PA. for the past several years, assisting with many duties in the day to day operations. He also worked for Maison Blanc catering services, Allentown, PA. Prior to both, he was a former cook for the former Old Country Buffet, Whitehall, PA for several years. John, never had a car, and was known for riding his bike everywhere. He enjoyed politics, loved reading, watching the news and the 700 Club.

He is survived by his brothers, William D. & wife Sharon Potak of Coal Township, PA and Michael E. Potak of Allentown, PA, sister, Elizabeth A. Potak of Whitehall, PA.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday December 23, 2025 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Robert Santucci officiating. Friends and family may call from 10:00 AM till time of service. Interment  will follow at St. John's Union Cemetery, Whitehall, PA.
