John A. Rudaitis , 78, of Elm Street, Pottsville, Norwegian Twp., Schuylkill County, died Sunday morning, October 24, 2021, at The Palmerton Personal Care Home. He was the husband of the late Nancy L. (Clocker) Rudaitis who passed in 1988. Born in Chester, he was a son of the late Albert and Mary (Yodlosky) Rudaitis.
John was employed as a painter by the former Hamburg Center State Hospital. He was a graduate of the former Cass Township High School. John served in the Army, Vietnam Era, and achieved the rank of SP4. An avid fisherman, he enjoyed sports, especially, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the NY Giants. He was proudly patriotic.
Survivors: Daughter, Cheryl A. Rudaitis wife of Robert McCandless of Middletown, NJ. Granddaughter, Octavia. Sister, Suzanne wife of Jim Travers of CA. 3 Nieces. He was predeceased by brother, Robert "Bob".
