John C. Schoeneberger, Jr.

John C. Schoeneberger, Jr . 74 of Nazareth, PA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Born September 3, 1950 in Northampton, PA, he was the son of the late John C. Schoeneberger, Sr. and the late Delores (Fox)  Schoeneberger. He was the husband of Kathie A. (Jones) Schoeneberger with whom he shared 52 years of marriage this past March 3, 2024.

John was a 1972 graduate of Temple University earning a bachelor's degree in business Administration. He was the inside salesman for Carlon/ Lamson & Sessions Co. E. Lawn-Nazareth, PA for over 50 years before retiring in 2021. John had a love of sports and coached many years for the Nazareth Clipper's Boys Football and Baseball, and the Girls Softball. He himself formerly played in Nazareth Men's League's Volleyball and Softball. He always rooted for the Phillies and the Eagles, and he was an avid fan of Star Wars and Star Trek. He had an incredible love of movies and had an uncanny ability to make people laugh. However, his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and being Pop-Pop to his 12 grandchildren, and he was immensely loved by them all.

Surviving along with his wife Kathie are sons, Ryan J. Schoeneberger(Stefanie) of Bath, PA and Scott C. Schoeneberger and Sharose Sampson of Allentown, PA, daughters, Amy B. Gearhart(Nicholas) of Pittsburgh, PA and Stacy A. Seltzer(Jason) of Easton, PA, brother, Terry Schoeneberger of Nazareth, PA, sisters, Sheila Fogel(Keith) of Walnutport, PA, Linda Hartley and Todd Kaplan of Harrisburg, PA and Lisa Palochik(Scott) of Nazareth, PA, sister-in-law, Jan Schoeneberger of Pittsburgh,PA; 12 grandchildren: Owen, Emma, Benjamin, Henry, Ryder, Cole, McKenzie, Aubrey, Emerson,Wyatt, Evan, and Elise. He was predeceased by his brother, Larry Schoeneberger.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday September 30, 2024 at St. John's Evan. Lutheran Church,  Broad and Prospect Sts. Nazareth, PA. Family and friends may call Sunday Sept. 29, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064, and 10:00 AM till time of services in church on Monday 9/30/24. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
