John A. Signarovitz , 87, of Franklin Street, Bowmanstown, PA, died peacefully early Saturday morning May 3, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of Mrs. Betty L. (Getz) Signarovitz since April 19, 1975, celebrating 50 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Alfred and Anna (Buda) Signarovitz.

John began his working life as a young man at the Lehigh Country Club.  He then was employed in the billing department of the former A & B Meat Co., Allentown. He returned to the Lehigh Country Club, Allentown, starting in 1948 as a caddie. From 1948 to 1965, he occupied several positions including pool snack bar, halfway house, grounds keeper, assistant golf pro, caddie master, and assistant professional. He retired as course starter. John operated his own golf club repair shop and many of his customers were loyal club members. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, and previously attended the former Holy Cross Catholic Chapel, Bowmanstown. John was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Allentown. He later served in the army, Vietnam Era, stateside, in the Army Pictorial Center in NY, achieving the rank of Spec4.  John was an active social member of the Bowmanstown Vol. Fire Co.

Survivors: Wife. Sisters, Anne Marie wife of Michael Baran, Jr., Marie Anne Signarovitz, both of Fullerton, Whitehall Twp, and Kathryn P. Wechsler of Coplay. Nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by an infant sister, Elizabeth Anne.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30AM Friday, May 9, 2025, Sacred Heart Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. Call, 9:30-10:30AM Friday in the church.
