John E. Stevens

John E. Stevens, Sr., 68, of Miner Street, Coaldale, PA, died late Tuesday evening, July 12, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill Campus, Pottsville.  He was the husband of Ruth E. (Moyer) Stevens for the last 38 years.  Born in Erie, PA, he was a son of the late Robert and Arlene (Behler) Stevens.

John was employed as a laborer in the construction industry for many years.  Previously, he worked at the former NJ Zinc Co., Palmerton.  He enjoyed fishing, his ham radio, and all genres of music.

Survivors: Wife.  4 Daughters.  6 Sons.  32 Grandchildren. 42 Great-Grandchildren.  2 Great-great-grandchildren. 1 Sister, 3 Brothers.  Several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a stepdaughter, a stepson, a sister, and a brother.
