John Zieserl, Jr.

John Zieserl, Jr., 90 of Bath, PA. died Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at his residence. Born May 6, 1927 in
Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John, Sr. and Julia (Galles) Zieserl. He was the husband of Catherine D.
(Rute) Zieserl, with whom he shared 46 years of marriage this past May 15, 2017.

John was the parts manager for Gilboy Ford, Whitehall, PA, for 29 years before retiring in 1989. Prior to he was a
career Navy man with 25 years of service earning the rank of Signalman Chief Petty Officer, serving through many
conflicts and ending his career serving during the Vietnam War. He is a member of Valleyview Baptist Church,
Northampton, PA. A long time member and former teacher for several years of the Naval Enlisted Reserve Assoc.,
Lehigh Valley Chapter, Bethlehem , PA; Member of the Fleet Reserve Assoc., Whitehall, PA.

Surviving along with is wife Catherine are son, John Zieserl, III and wife Eileen of Bethlehem, PA; daughter, April
wife of John Shaheen of Easton, PA; Brother, Richard Musselman of Macungie, PA; 3 Grandchildren: Jennifer,
Todd, and Amanda, and 3 Great - Grandchildren: Ella, Lily, and Rosaline.

A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday October 3, 2017 at Valleyview Baptist Church, 2870
Pheasant Drive, Northampton, PA. 18067 with the Rev. Volker Stoeckmann officiating. The family will receive friends
from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Monday, October 2, 2017, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave.,
Northampton, PA, and October 3, 2017, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM prior to the services in the church. Interment will
follow with military honors in Zion Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
