Jonathan J. Jones

Jonathan J. Jones , 69, of Mauch Chunk Road, Palmerton, PA, died suddenly Wednesday evening, January 29, 2025, in his home.  Born in Coaldale, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Thomas M. Jones, Sr., and Helen (Polansky) Jones.

Jonathan was employed as a computer technician for the Kodak/Guardian Photo Company, Catasauqua.  A 1973 graduate of the Whitehall-Coplay High School, he later served in the Navy, Peacetime.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors: Son, Daniel of Bowmanstown.  Sisters, Barbara L. wife of Ronald Churetta of Northampton, Laurie wife of Michael Blevins of New Port Richey, FL, and Cathy wife of Robert Keegan of Slatington.  Brother, Thomas M., Jr. and wife Karen of Evans, GA.  Many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by son, Thomas.

Services: Memorial Services with Military Honors, 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 10, 2025, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m., on Monday in the funeral home.
