Joseph W. Czonstka , 95, of Northampton, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the husband of Mrs. Bernadine (Marsolick) Czonstka with whom he shared over 70 years of marriage. Born in Ormrod, N. Whitehall Twp, he was a son of the late Julian and Veronica (Zima) Czonstka.
Joseph was employed as a line inspector for Mack Trucks Corp., Allentown, over 30 years retiring in 1993. He was a member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church, Northampton. An avid Philadelphia Phillies Fan, he also enjoyed watching classic Westerns and Penna Polka, along with dancing polkas at the former Jolly Joe Timmer's Grove, Bath, Joseph served in the Air Force, Korea, achieving rank of A 2/c.
Survivors : wife. daughter, Christine A wife of Michael Kahn of Allentown. son, Anthony J. and wife Gail Czonstka of Allen Twp. 5 grandchildren. 3 great grandsons. sister, Mrs. Lucille Jiorle of Alpha, NJ. numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Stephania, Victoria, Stella, Helen, and Elizabeth, brothers, Emil, Stanley, Thaddeus, Francis, and Edwin.
