Joseph E. Myirski, Jr., 64 of Northampton, PA. died Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at his home. Born February 19, 1952 in Bethlehem, PA. he was the son of Joseph E. Myirski, Sr. of Bath and the late Mary A. (Nemith) Myirski. He was the husband of Monica R. (Miklos) Myirski, together they celebrated 41 years of marriage last August 17, 2015.
Joseph was a graduate of Northampton High School who was employed by Nestle / Purina Pet Care, Allentown as a Warehouse Lift Operator for the past 25 years. He was a member of Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, Northampton, PA; In his earlier years, Joe was a Firefighter for the Bath Vol. Fire Co., He was a Little League
Baseball coach at the Northampton Athletic Association and the former Our Lady of Hungary Church and School. He was a member of the Boilermakers Union Local while working at the Bonney Forge. He also served as former Shop Steward for Teamster Local 773 at Nestle Purina. In his spare time with his wife Monica he enjoyed antiquing.
Surviving along with his wife and father are sons, Eric J. Myirski and Jason J. Myirski both of Northampton, PA and
Kevin M. Myirski and wife Chentille of San Antonio, TX; Brothers; Michael M. Myirski and wife Pamela of Fallston,
MD, John J. Myirski and wife Lori of Nazareth, PA. Granddaughter, Harper Grace Myirski; Nieces; Rachel wife of
David Herr, and Sara Myirski, Nephew, Nathan and Nieces Keri and Tori Myirski.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday August 15, 2016 at Assumption of the Blessed
Virgin Mary Church, 22nd & Washington Avenue Northampton, PA. 18067. The family will receive friends from 8:30
AM to 10:30 AM on Monday at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067.
Interment will follow in Assumption B.V.M. Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
