Joseph G. Ofner,
81, of Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died Thursday morning, February 15, 2018, in his home. He was the husband of Judith A. (Worrell) Ofner since June 27, 1991, and the late Sandra L. (Allen) Ofner who passed in 1987. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, he was the son of the late George and Margaret (Horvath) Ofner.
Joseph was employed as a lineman for PECO Services, Newtown, PA, until retiring. He served his country honorably in the Army, Peacetime Era, Europe. Joseph enjoyed camping at Samson State Park, New York.
Survivors: Wife, Judith. Daughters, Lisa wife of Edwin Lieb of Fairless Hills, PA, Janette wife of Thomas Givnish of Morristown, NJ. Sons, Gregory and wife Robin Ofner of Pennington, NJ, John and wife Maria Hirst of Lewistown, PA, and Jeffrey Hirst of Morristown, NJ. 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
