Joseph W. Steacher

Joseph W. Steacher, Sr. , 86, of Round Table Drive, Nazareth, Bushkill Township died suddenly Saturday afternoon, August 21, 2021, at his home.  He was the husband of Kathryn E. (Zwetolitz) Steacher since August 24, 1968.  Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Helen (Tackacs) Steacher.

Joseph was employed as a supervisor in the 5C Department of Mack Trucks Corporation, Allentown, for over 25 years.  Later, he worked as a PA State Drivers License Examiner.  An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member and volunteer of Blue Mountain Fish and Game Association, Lehigh Township.  Joseph served his country with honor in the Navy on the USS Macon, Korea Era, and achieved the rank of DCG3.

Survivors: Wife.  Daughters, MaryJo Steacher of Allentown, and Stacy S. wife of Bob Morrow of Walnutport.  Son, Joseph W., Jr. of Catasauqua.  2 grandsons, Blake and Canon.  Sister, Theresa wife of John Sordillo of FL.  Several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by sister, Sis wife of the late James Boyle, and Frances Seer.
