Joseph S. Sywensky

Joseph S. Sywensky, 72 of Parryville passed away December 2, 2022, surrounded by family at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Born in Northampton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late William, Sr. and Anna (Steier) Sywensky.

He was the owner of J. Sywensky Home Improvements for over 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, tending to his chickens, and most of all, spending time with his family. His granddaughters were his #1 joy in life.

Surviving are daughters, Josette Saxton and partner Joel Giorgio of Austin, TX, and Christa L. and husband Timothy Nelson of Laurys Station, sons, Joseph Sywensky, Jr. and Thomas Sywensky and wife Mary Kate of Wilmington, DE, granddaughters, Allie, Lilah, and Emma, sisters, Anna Eighelberger and husband Wayne of Northampton, Joan Sywensky of Northampton, and Catherine Holderman of Whitehall, brothers, John Sywensky and wife Carol of Northampton, and Michael Sywensky and wife Theresa of Cherryville, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by granddaughter, Isabella Rose, sisters, Rita Green and Michelle Sywensky, brothers, William Sywensky, Jr., Gerald Sywensky and Richard Sywensky.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a 6:00 PM funeral service, all on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, Pennsylvania 18067.
