Joseph A. Ziser, Sr.

Joseph A. Ziser, Sr., 93 of Whitehall, PA died on March 24, 2017, at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem, PA. Born in Stiles, PA he was a son of the late Edward and Mary (Eberhardt) Ziser. He was the loving husband of the late Margaret (Neupauer) Ziser for 64 years until her death in 2010. He was employed by Whitehall Cement Co. for many years. Joseph was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church-Egypt. Joseph served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was predeceased by his son, Joseph Ziser, Jr., a daughter in law, Carol Ziser; and three brothers, Frank Gus, and John Ziser.

Survivors include his grandson, David J. Ziser and his wife Christina D. of Harrisburg; sister, Hermina Nederostek of Coplay; two great granddaughters, Alexa and Addison; many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church-Egypt, 4456 Main Street Whitehall, PA 18052 with the Rev. Msgr. Daniel J. Yenushosky officiating. Interment will be in Egypt Cemetery, Whitehall.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church Memorial Fund c/o the funeral home.
