Josephine Bachman

Josephine (Hrehus) Bachman, 87, formerly of Columbia Avenue, Palmerton, died peacefully Thursday morning, April 7, 2016, at the Village at Palmerton. She was the wife of the late Thomas H. Bachman who passed in 194. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Alexander J. and Katie (Fulier) Hrehus. Josephine was employed as a machine operator by the fmr Scotty''s Fashions Co., Palmerton, over 21 years retiring in 1990. Previously, she worked as a clerk for Pencor Services, Palmerton, and PP & L Corp., Allentown. Josephine was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.
Survivors: daughter, Jane A. wife of Robert D. Boyer of Palmerton. grandson, Kyle R. and wife Amber of Palmerton. several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 9 sisters and brothers. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00AM Wednesday, Sacred Heart Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071. No Calling Hours. Interment, Parish''s New Cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton.
