Jovonne R. (Wertman) Andreas, 84, of Princeton Avenue West, Palmerton, died peacefully early Tuesday morning in her home. She was the wife of the late Richard C. Andreas who passed in 2024. Born in Bowmanstown, she was a daughter of the late Gordon H. and Naomi A. (Bennyhoff) Wertman.
Jovonne was employed by the former Palmerton Hospital in the housekeeping/custodial department for over 25 years, retiring in 2004. She attended St. John's Episcopal Church, Palmerton. An avid shopper, she enjoyed bingo at the former West End Volunteer Fire Company, Palmerton; the Sokol Hall, Palmerton; and the Diamond Volunteer Fire Company, Walnutport. Jovonne was an avid Daniel O'Donnell fan, and she also enjoyed casino trips, and vacationing in Delaware.
Survivors: Daughters, Kelly L. Terruta of Kunkletown, and Mary L. Eschbach of Palmerton. Stepdaughter, Linda J. Andreas of Allentown. 3 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Sister, Shirley Pupak of Palmerton. Brother, Thomas and wife Margie Wertman of Ashfield. She was predeceased by son, Raymond Hartranft, 2 grandsons, sister, Marie Williams, and brothers, Gordon, and Harlan.
Services: Graveside Services, 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Towamensing Cemetery, 3rd Street and Fireline Road, Palmerton. Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton. Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com.
