Judith A. Houtz

Judith A. (Moyer) Houtz , 74, of Hemlock Street, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Twp., PA, died Thursday afternoon, April 28, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton.  She was the wife of the late David C. Houtz who passed in 2013.  Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Marie (Wolf) Moyer.

Judith worked as a bartender at various employers in the greater Lehigh Valley.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.  Judith was known for her cooking, caring for her family and animals.  An excellent pool player, she was a social member of both the VFW Post, and the Hungarian Club, Palmerton.

Survivors: Daughters, Patricia L. and wife Suzanne Moyer, with whom she resided.  Kimberly Mikrut of Allentown, and Shannan wife of George Rigrey of York.  Son, Scott Moyer of Allentown.  8 grandchildren.  3 great-grandchildren. Sister, Robin Moyer of OK.  Brother, David Moyer of Kutztown.  Nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by grandson, Sean Cieri, and daughter-in-law, Lillian (Aguilia) Moyer.
