Judith R. Rogers

Judith R. Rogers ,71, of Autumn Lane, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, PA, died peacefully Sunday evening, May 19, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.  Born in Indianapolis, IN, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Pearl (Wagner) Rogers.

Judith was the owner/operator for the former Judy's Daycare, Bayonne, NJ, for many years. She attended Faith United Church of Christ, Hazleton, Luzerne County, and enjoyed volunteering at both Grace - St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Penn Forest Township, and Christ Evangelical Lutheran Churches' Daycare and Family Promise Programs.  Judith was an avid bingo enthusiast, and member of the Penn Forest Township Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary.

Survivors: Daughters, Mellissa Benitich of Bayonne, NJ, and Jilliann Rogers of Mount Pocono.  Sons, Joseph R. and wife Marisa Benitich of Cranford, NJ, Adrian and wife Megan Sanchez of Tiffin, IA, Mark A. Sanchez of Linden, NJ, Tristan Sanchez of Coaldale, and Dimitri A. Benitich of Jim Thorpe.  14 grandchildren.  1 great-granddaughter.  Sisters, Portia, Mitzi, Shannie, Lisa, and Danielle.  Brothers, Perry, Kurt, and Gary.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by an infant sister, and sisters, Karen, and Tracy, and a brother, Russell.

Services: Public Visitation, 1:00-3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Private Interment.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
