Judith V. Smith

Judith V. Smith , 88 of Northampton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Born January 17, 1936, in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Genovese and the late Millie (Yankovich) Genovese. She was the wife of the late Richard M. Smith, Sr.

Judy was last employed as a Cashier for the Redner's Warehouse Markets, Northampton for 20 years before retiring in 2010. Prior to she worked at both the former Cross-Country Clothes, Northampton as a sewing machine operator, and for Parkland School District in custodial services. Judy's life revolved around work and family, mainly family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, never missing any of their events. She was known for a little saying that she believed in and lived by, "Memories together remain in our hearts".

Surviving are son, Richard M. Smith, Jr.(Donna) of Northampton, PA, daughters, Terry L. Mosch(Thomas) of Orefield, PA and Shelley A. Danser(Frederick) of Marlton, NJ, brother, James Genovese(Mary) of Northampton, PA; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brother, Gabriel and a sister, Tessie.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA has been entrusted with her care and services.
