Judith A. Whiteman

Judith A. (Heckman) Whiteman, 82, of Lehigh Avenue, Palmerton, died peacefully early Saturday morning, February 14, 2026, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth, She was the wife of Thomas A. Whiteman, Jr. since October 24, 1964. Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Fulton and Erma (Eck) Heckman.

Judy was employed as a retail clerk by the former Spillane's Store, Palmerton. Previously, she worked at Rinker's Crafts, Forest Inn, and owned and operated the former Judy's Workshop, Palmerton. Judy was a 1961 graduate of the former Slatington High School. She volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader, Palmerton Borough Hall, and as a captain for Relay for Life, American Cancer Society.

Survivors: husband. daughter, Tiffani L. wife of Jim Christman of Palmerton, 3 grandsons, Jacob and wife Morgan Christman, Zack Christman and fiancée Kyley Bandholz, and Lucas Christman. step brother, Raymond and wife Vicki Grimes of Whitehall. She was predeceased by a sister, Delores Muthard.
