Julia R. Vandak, 92, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, formerly of Whitehall, and Lehighton, Towamensing Township, died early Sunday morning, March 18, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.  She was the wife of the late John P. Vandak who passed in 2013.  Born in Coaldale, Schuylkilll County, she was a daughter of the late Stanislaus and Ernestina (Kukucka) Klick.

Julia was employed as a seamstress by the former Fernbrook Garment Company, Forest Inn.  Previously, she was employed by the Atlas Powder Company.  Julia was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, and the I.L.G.W.U.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, baking, and tending to her garden.

Survivors: Daughter-in-law, Patricia J. (Fies) Vandak of Allentown.  3 granddaughters, Tara, Cassandre, and Alexandra.  Grandson, Sean Paul.  5 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son, Mark P. Vandak, in 2003, a sister, Helen Keer, and an infant brother, Francis Klick.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 26, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Officiating will be Deacon Edward Girard, Ph.D. Call, 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., Monday, at Campton Funeral Home, Inc., 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Interment will follow Mass, at Resurrection Cemetery, 547 N.
