June E. Lynn

June E. Lynn , 88 of Lehigh Township, PA passed away on February 13, 2023, at her residence. Born July 29, 1934 in Bloomsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roy Reese and the late Ruth (Burns) Reese. She was the wife of the late G. Alvin Lynn, with whom she shared 61 years of loving marriage.

After graduating high school, she went on to earn a Master's Degree in Library Science from Bloomsburg University. June was employed by Whitehall Area School District as a Librarian for 25 years before retiring in June of 1991. She was a Member of Bethany Wesleyan Church. In her time away from work she continued her passion for books by helping at the Bethany Church Library, and enjoyed spending time at home and traveling with her husband Al.

Survivors : son, Rick and wife Rana Lynn of Rio Rancho, NM, grandchildren Shelby Lynn of Rio Rancho NM, and Ian Lynn, of Colorado Springs, Co.

Services: The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, followed by services at 11:00 AM at Bethany Wesleyan Church, 675 Blue Mt. Drive Cherryville, PA 18035. Interment will be the following day, Thursday, February 23, 2023 in Lemon Cemetery, Greenwood Twp, PA. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA, 18067 has been entrusted with her care.
