Kaitlin Ann Tomecek

Kaitlin Ann Tomecek , 37 of Downingtown, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA. Born July 11, 1988, in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of Robert Tomecek and Kathryn (Stewart) Tomecek of Catasauqua, PA.

Kaitlin Graduated Valedictorian of her 2006 class at Catasauqua High School.  She continued her education earning bachelor's degrees in education and Math at Kutztown University.  She continued her education, completing 2 master's Degrees.  She was last employed as a high school math teacher for Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills, PA. While in college, Kaitlin competed on the Kutztown Equestrian team, and the Women's Rugby team, earning MVP status.  Post high school, she continued her Rugby with Brandywine Riot team and then Doylestown Lady Dragons.

Surviving along with both her parents are brothers, Timothy Varley of Fairfax Station, VA, Robert Tomecek of Catasauqua, PA, and sister, Melanie Bilheimer of San Diego, CA.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA has been entrusted with her care and arrangements.
