Karen K. Correll

Karen K. Correll, 82 of Northampton, PA, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Fellowship Manor / Community in Whitehall, PA. Born April 30, 1943, in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Beaury S. Kohler and the late Marguerite (Ritter) Kohler. Karen shared 49 years of marriage with her husband the late Edward J. Correll, Jr. before his passing on August 20, 2012.

Karen was a 1961 graduate of Northampton Area Senior High School and was last employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the former Allentown Osteopathic Hospital, Allentown, PA for 18 years before retiring in 1999. Prior to, she was a self-employed hairdresser in Northampton for 18 years serving the Northampton Community. Karen was a life-long member of St. Paul's U.C.C. Church, Northampton, PA. serving as a former Sunday School Teacher and Senior Choir member for many years. Karen always looked forward to family time especially with her grandchildren. Karen enjoyed Penn State football, as an avid fan she traveled to watch many of their bowl games.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin L. wife of Gary Miller of Robesonia, PA, son, Jan E. Correll and wife Jeanine of Schnecksville, PA, brother, Kenneth Kohler and wife Margaret of Cherryville, PA; 4 grandchildren; Chad C., Alyssa M. Miller, Matthew A., Jacob A. Correll and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother Raymond Kohler and his wife Brenda and her canine companion Shaina.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday November 5, 2025, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Family and friends may call from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Rev. Joel Biggers will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
