Karen M. (Tobisch) Kasper , 57, of 12th Street, Northampton, Pennsylvania, died suddenly early Sunday evening, April 18, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of William G. Kasper, Jr. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of Rupert and Barbara (Mandl) Tobisch of Walnutport.
Karen was employed by Hartford Insurance Company, Fogelsville, as a call line supervisor. Later, she worked as a bus driver for Lanta Transportation, Allentown, Transbridge Transportation, Bethlehem, and the Carbon-Lehigh Intermediate Unit. Karen was a talented artist and she enjoyed baking. She was a 1982 graduate of the Northampton High School, member of the National Honor Society, Civil Air Patrol, Whitehall Township, and instrumental in child and pet adoption.
Survivors: Husband. Daughter, Mercedes M. at home. Son, Alfonso W. at home. Parents. Brothers, Frederick and wife Angela Tobisch of Pittston, Luzerne County, Bryan A. Tobisch of Philadelphia. Nieces, Libby, Lilly, and Maria. Nephews, AJ, and James. Aunt, Resi (Tobisch) in Austria.
Services: Memorial Services, 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Call, 5:00-6:00 p.m., Thursday in the funeral home. Private Interment. Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
