Karen M. Martnick

Karen M. Martnick, 72 of Northampton, PA. passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Born January 8, 1949 in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Edward Brazee and the late Mildred (Meckert) Brazee. She was the wife of Andrew Martnick, III with whom she would have shared 50 years of marriage this past Saturday April 24, 2021.

Karen was last employed by Weiss's Market, Bethlehem, PA, in the Deli Department for 7 years before retiring in 2005. Prior to, she worked for Mann's Dairy Market for 11 years, and before that at Seiple's Farm Market for many years. In her earlier working days she was the Assistant Manager for the former Kiddie City, Whitehall, PA. until it's closing. She was a former member of the E. Allen Twsp. Volunteer Fire Co. ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of Assumption of the B.V.M. Roman Catholic Church, Northampton, PA.

Surviving along with her husband Andrew are daughter, Carrie A. wife of Robert Saul of Northampton, PA, sister, Mrs. Dorean Braida of Turner, OR. 2 Granddaughters, Brooke and Jordan. She was predeceased by daughter, Amanda and brother, Edward.

A Funeral service for family will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday April 29, 2021 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA. 18067. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 and Thursday April 29, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM prior to the service both at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown, PA. The public is reminded to continue to follow social distancing guidelines including the wearing of facial coverings.
