Karen S. Muldowney

Karen S. Muldowney, 70 of Danielsville, Pennsylvania died on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born February 24, 1952 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Frances (Troxell) Hemerly. She and her husband Francis "Frank" Muldowney were married on July 16, 1983. She worked for Agere Systems, Inc. for many years before retiring as a payroll manager. Karen was also a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Berlinsville. She enjoyed traveling with her family and spending time with her dog Maxx.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Jonathan P. and wife Kimberly Muldowney of Danielsville, Kevin A. and wife Keri Muldowney of Northampton, and Sean C. Muldowney of Washington, DC, brothers, Joseph and wife Sharon Hemerly of Maryland, Herbert Hemerly of Allentown, and David and wife Alice Hemerly of Allentown, sisters, Joyce and husband John Ebling of Allentown, and Rosemarie Thrash of Northampton, and five
granddaughters.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
