Karen A. Peters

Karen A. (Schmall) Peters, 61, of Mountain Road, Allentown, died peacefully early Wednesday morning, December 7, 2022, at VNA Hospice House St. Luke's, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Paul D. Peters who passed in 2001. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Carl, Sr. and Barbara (Taniser) Schmall.

Karen was employed as a cashier by Giant Food Store, Coplay, for many years. Previously, she worked at the former Woolworths, Whitehall Mall, and as a waitress at the City View Diner, Whitehall. She had formally attended the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Northampton, and was a 1979 graduate of the Whitehall High School.. Karen enjoyed bowling and was a member of the American Club, Coplay.

Survivors: daughter, Emily A. Peters with whom she resided. sons, Paul A., II of Northampton, David C. with whom she resided. grandson, Zander. sister, Debra wife of Dale Knecht of Northampton. brothers, Carl, Jr. and wife Michele of Whitehall, Jeffery, Alan and wife Chris, all of Northampton, Charles of Coplay. aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
